Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 21, 2026
Overview
HackMyIP is a free privacy and network toolkit. It is built to collect as little about you as possible. This policy explains what we do, and do not do, with your data.
What we process
Your IP and connection details: when you use a tool, your IP address and request metadata are processed in real time to return results. Our application does not keep persistent logs that tie your lookups to your identity.
Tool queries: lookups such as IP, DNS, WHOIS, and blacklist checks are sent to upstream providers (for example Cloudflare DNS, ip-api, and public RDAP servers) to fetch results. We do not store them.
Email breach checks: if you check an email, it is sent to a third-party breach database (XposedOrNot) to look up exposure. We do not store the email.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous traffic, such as how many people use a tool. This sets analytics cookies and shares standard usage data with Google. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block analytics via your browser settings, Do Not Track, or a script blocker.
What we do not do
No accounts or sign-ups. No selling or renting your data. No persistent server-side logs of your queries tied to your identity. No ads.
Third parties
We rely on Cloudflare (hosting and DNS resolution), Google Analytics (traffic stats), XposedOrNot (breach data), and ip-api and RDAP providers (IP and domain lookups). Each has its own privacy practices.
Children
HackMyIP is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date above reflects the latest version.
